Default Solunar

We go out to Wizard Lake when it's the lowest rating on these tables, and right after a cold front moves in -- and catch 12 in 2.5 hours. Go out yesterday when the solunar tables are at their highest -- and catch 5 in 3 hours. Same presentation, same spots, way different results.

I say these tables are always trumped by wakeboarders and jet-skiers.

But that aside, what's your thought on these tables? Are they just another tool in a fisherman's bag, or another hyped up thing?

used to be realy good fishing just east of the ski club. every time you start to fish they figure they own the lake ,and start driving close to your boat.

Ive found they can be accurate but many things can affect the results. Weather always trumps the solunar chart. So can a long weekend with lots of traffic on the water.

I think the lunar charts may be worth slim to nil.

Weather is some part... Time of day...

I think that boat traffic and jet skiers have a little impact. Unless your fishing in 5 FOW or less and they go right over top, I would say the fish probably don't even flinch.

Bring an old school cannon and a few hundred pounds of cantaloupe.

Entertainment, production and a healthy snack ........
