Smile Chain Lakes?

Just wondering how the fishing is out at Chain Lakes (south of Calgary) this winter? Has anyone been there lately? Would like a couple for the frying pan tommoro night.

hit the south end and you will get your few. Been really good fishing at the south end this year.

Been out there four times this year. Fishing on the South always. Most people seem to fish there due to access. Fish are small but numerous. Caught most on worms. Last trip out caught lots of suckers so maybe I should change it up to some jigging which can be effective.

What part of the lake were you catching the suckers at, and what were you using?

Catching suckers (and trout) straight across from the North parking lot in the provincial park. Was using worms. Very good for trout down there.
