Default The guys at Marcum are class acts

I can't believe the excellent service I get out of Marcum Industries still. I was worried when I heard they were bought out by Rapala but yet they continue to shine in the area of customer service. I'm sold on Marcum products, not only do they work well they back them up without hesitation.

Had to post this because great customer service is getting more and more rare every day.

Tight lines!

I have emailed 3x in the past they usually respond within 12 hours....unless you email on weekend.

Their service is top-notch.

Had 1 issue with my Troller 2.0. Not only did they fix it they also replaced the faceplate for FREE(it was scratched due to rough trail to fishing hole and it was rubbing on a tip up inside my tackle box).

Repair time was less then 3 weeks door to door and that is good considering it has to go through customs.

Cost me $14 dollars shipping....

Talk to this guy...he is great!

I have a marcum lx 5 and I had a problem at the end of lat year with my sonar I contacted marcum in the states as they are the only ones that do warrenty work and send of my unit to them and had it back inside of 14 days, awesome work on their part. they get my vote.
Called the contact here in Canada and they sure made me feel like i was the 3 eyed fish from the simpsons.

Yes, unfortunately they do.

Rapala has been buying up many companies - I fear it won't take long to destroy the customer service oriented culture at Marcum.

They (Rapala) have already destroyed their website as you can no longer access information on cameras from a Canadian IP address ..... lol .....

They have a poor track record of integrating their acquisitions.

How could they be in such a hurry to buy, and integrate their website (redirecting to their own Rapala website), yet forget to map the paths to the rest of the information (like the camera section) for customers outside of the US?.

I sent them a letter and there was no response .......

Interesting, I broke a few rods on my Clam, phoned em up asked for service told the guy I needed to buy a few rods.

He asked my mailing addy and sent me no charge the 2 I needed plus 2 spares.

Now that to me is going way more than the extra mile.

Maybe you should phone them instead of email. Might make the difference.
