Chain Lakes condition?

Just wondering how much snow/slush there is on the lake now, am heading up on Friday

Was there yesterday, about 16-18 inches of ice but 3-4 of that was white ice. A few inches of hard packed snow on top, no slush or water. Wind, though warm, was unbearable tent or no tent. Fishing was real slow, caught and marked some as high as 3 foot under the ice.

Good day of fishing at chain lakes today no wind, sunny and catching fish. Lots of ice and lots of vehicles driving on the ice.
