Default Gun crime

I can’t remember the last armed robbery in our little town.
My daughter just showed me a story on her instagram account of the security camera at a local c store.
Big dude walks in with a hand gun and goes behind the counter. Employee rushed out of the back and football tackles him, perp gets up quickly gets a folding chair over the head from employee #2. Falls to the ground where employee #3 joins in and it appears he gets a good old fashioned beat down.
Doubt he saw that coming.
I know it’s reckless behaviour but I’m proud of these young guys standing up to say “Oh Hell No!”.
Heading down with some gift cards for a few minimum wage heroes.

Well it’s good that the guy got a beating but it could have went south just as easy. After the crook is released in 24 hours he may be back for revenge.

Doesnt sound like those employees would cower in fear of that.
We need more of those types that are like "bring it on punk".

There’s nothing to fear. The perp will have learned from his 8 hours in jail that he shouldn’t be using an illegal handgun to knock over convenience stores.

Good on the employees. Is the footage available anywhere online?

Hope the beat him bad enough that he had to spend a couple days in the hospital first, the video is cut short just when the other employee comes into the pic with a baseball bat.

Pleased to see the gunman get beaten down, but it could have gone so badly, as said previously.

People will call that wreckless...but the world needs more cowboys in my opinion.

Stood up to the bully even when faced with danger...good kids...hopefully the gunman sustained a savage beating off camera cause that's closest thing to justice he will ever see.

They should have done some batting practice on his knees , to slow him down the next time, after the courts give him a slap on the wrist and turn him loose.

There are lots of examples where the gunman kills the store clerk after the clerk gives into the demands without hesitation, and gets shot for no reason. Yes you should take him down as you don't stand a chance any other way. I'd rather fight to the death than just take a bullet for being cooperative.

Thats another way of saying, "I'd rather go standing than kneeling" ..

No way this happened in Canada, handguns are illegal...

I wish I was closer to Nipawin as I would pay a visit to these good folks and help them out as well. Hats off to the brave indivduals and I hope the POS gets what he deserves when he gets behind bars...

There WILL be more instances like this. Cops are told all the time that "If you won’t do something, WE will"

There's a local crook who cops have been using for years as a paid informant and ignor his crimes. Everybody knows he's the source of practically all local crime. One day he's going to disappear.

wrong store, should have scoped it out first....rookie

now the fella with the bat should have swung it a few times but is probably a blue jay fan so a swing and a miss would have not amounted to much...like the jays

probably out already for cooperating for 24hrs.

I like the guy at the end with the stick

A few to the head. Make them ID the bad guy by fingerprints.

It was not a handgun; It was a sawed off shotgun.
