Ive seen nice solid silver's from Candle lake. I think it has to do with when they were netted, high muddy water, or low clear water. If you make it out Med Hat way there is a great bait supplier. If you want, rifle a pm over and I will give you his info Ray.

i havent gotten bait out there since Jan, but i got my bait from BPS and they to my surprise had Manitoba minnows! Im from MB and feel that those minows are the best out there, they were the BIG ZEE minows i believe. Not sure where else a person could get them but do recomend looking for them if your at BPS, but like i said i havent been down there since Jan.
