Gosh darn I got to this thread way too late I've seen this a zillion times) Ken..always the female coupler... I'll try to log on more often

It is always easy to diagnose after the work is done pal. lol

Actually when I went to JD in Wainwright I asked if they had any female ends to swap out, they said they never carry them, 'but here try these male ones', and a jug of oil $60 please.

Agland Lloydminster actually looked into it for me, called me back with information and part numbers. Thumbs up guys, I appreciate the help.

Yup, had the same problem on a big loader grapple hoses last week. The female's locking balls get worn and the couplers start backing apart, closing the shutoff ball in the oil flow. Usually still works slowly for a while, then no more.
