Default Alberta Tactical Rifle Supply rings

I am looking at rings and bases for my Sako and was going to use the sako rings and bases, but then got thinking about using the rings that Alberta Tactical Rifle supply makes. Does anyone have any experience with them or comments about those rings? Also do you have to use a pictinny rail with them or do they go directly onto the gun?

ATRS makes great rails and mounts. More tactical than sporter style. Nice touch to their rings is the maple leaf. Would also recommend Near Alphamounts. Check them both on the internet. Both Albertan, and best quality products.

Our rings are 1913 Picatinny spec, so they will NOT direct mount to your Sako.
You WILL need a Picatinny rail for the rings to mount onto.

As mentioned, you also can't go wrong with the Near Manufacturing stuff. I have some of Richard's gear on a Tikka and a Sako and it's top of the line.

I bought one of their rails for my savage LRP and it fit perfect. No messing around with bedding the rail.

Default rings

Ive got a set and don't have any complaints, they don't have to be lapped and don't cause any ring marks at all. Seems like a quality product, probably overkill for my hunting rig.

Default ATRS rings

Quality merchandise that will last a lifetime, never need to be lapped and would survive a truck being dropped on them. Buy an albertabeauty product with confidence.
