Lesser Slave Lake report ( west end )

Just wanted to let you all know that the west end of Lesser Slave is good to go!

A good 15 inches of ice and really good access. There is a pretty big drift at the boat launch but easy to get around it.

The fishing has been relatively slow, but so far three different species have found their way up through my holes! Sunday was a good afternoon for walleye, pretty good bite most of the afternoon.

The cabins are out - let the games begin for the next three months!!




( I will say again that this report is for the west end ONLY!! I have heard that two trucks went thru on the east end yesterday, and I know there was open water on that side only three weeks ago.....be careful on the east end!! )
