I also thought about getting out there tomorrow. I've never had any luck out there. Seems those fish are super lazy. Most people I see out there use a bobber with a plain hook (no lure) with corn or cooked shrimp as bait. If I do make it out I'll be the guy with the yellow S10 with a bunch of antennas.

Another thread around here mentioned that the pond got washed out earlier this year and there was a bait ban in effect because of this. I don't know if this is still the rule or not. Does anyone know where one can find out?

you can use bait in there now... they fixed the pond... good to go. Ive caught them on pink power bait out there. Also using atomic teasers worked well. small flies and spinners aare also worth a try.

Yes it's stocked: http://www.mywildalberta.com/Fishing...ngReports.aspx

Was heading past there today so stopped in to have a look around. Guys were yanking little bows out on small dry flies.

i was out there 2 weekends ago, it has been stocked. the water level was higher than normal, and very dirty. it might have cleared up by now, but can't be 100% sure on that. been up in the yukon and northern bc for the past 10 days....should have taken the rod and some tackle....note to self...pack the rod next time.
