Average doe 40lbs. Average buck 60. I've had 250lbs Mulie Bucks on the hoof (weighed) give 80lbs of boneless meat.

100lbs of meat off a deer is dreaming.

Manitoba deer I get around 50 lbs of a buck. Maybe a bit more if I'm lucky. Absolutely no fat or sinew in my boneless meat.

This year numbers mule buck 96 lbs meat and trim.
Doe 58lbs.

Weighed by me then butcher.

This is not pure meat weight. This is rib meat trim etc.

Got 40lbs of a WT doe my daughter got this year. Cleaned it up pretty good I thought and was curious on the weight so I pulled the scale out. Ended up buying 50 pounds of pork picnic roasts from costco for less than half the price the butcher shop wanted for trim and made a pile of good sausage

Not sure about you guys grabbing 80-100 lbs
Pretty sure that would either be a big mule buck or your comprising the taste of the meat
I agree with you on these numbers and that's if you work hard to trim. I have cut up my own meat for years. I am picky though and don't take heart, liver, silverskin, fat or bones.

I typically get 25 lbs from a fawn and +/- 60 from a mature deer but I am VERY meticulous with removing all of the fat, silver and other junk from my meat. It sounds to me like you did a very good job of butchering it.
Agreed.

Definitely depends on where the Deer was taken. Most of the ones I’ve seen in Cent AB would yield 40-60 lbs, but I personally got one a couple years ago near Keg River that yielded 105lbs. Got one there this year, 90 lbs. That’s no bones at all, meticulously butchered with no silver skin or fat, including wrapping and butcher string for the roasts.
