Bow city ponds?

Anyone been out there was thinking of giving them a try? Maybe try some pike holes nearby.

If you're talking about the old mine pond at Bow City, then ya, I've caught some very big 'bows out of there. About 15 yrs ago and haven't been there since. I caught my second biggest trout out of there on a silver Mepps spoon, it weighed 5 1/4" and was 24". Looked like a silver football. Tasted like heaven.
If anyone goes out there let me know how you do. Oh, and if you went at the right time in the old days you could get a good feed of cactus berries

Was at the west ponds after perch this hardwater season, never got anything of any size, tried the east ponds (stocked trout) and got a nice fat 2lbser. Its the first trout I have got out of there in a few years, but from what I'm told they can get pretty big when there bitting.
