Default wading trousers.

I just bought a pr of Sims, Freestone pants, been looking at them for a while as an alternate to hip waders, that often seam to be a bit short,
anyone else got a pr and whats your thoughts,
I have to work the next two weeks, so wont get to try out till mid July.

I have the same pair. I miss the pocket of my bib style, but other than that I love the pants. I feel they're a lot cooler on the warm days where you want more than just shorts on in the water.

I bought the Simms G3 convertible and absolutely love them. Can be worn as a chest or pant and it's great to have that flexibility. There were only a few times that I got my shirt wet when wearing them as a pant from water splashing up from walking across the rivers.
