Default Rifle Sight In - Waiporous or.......

Just put a new scope on my .308 and would like to sight it in today, I know crown land is an option but sometimes busy. Anyone have a good spot to go out that way, with a good backstop?

Thumbs up

Its Christmas Tree season right now. I would wait until January before going out there to shoot. Or better yet, applications for ranges are opening. Its worth the money to have a private/safe place to shoot .

I am also in cochrane and usually get out waiporous way a couple times a month to do some target practice. PM me if you'd like I'll be around the 13-23rd of January

waiporous is great. especially if you get out early and have it to yourself. I usually make a fire and burn grabage targets, (paper, cardboard and wood) some decent brass to be found too.

Very end of the Trans Alta, down in the river valley (stay left at the bottom of the hill), using the big flat wall as your backstop...

Merry Christmas, Happy New Year !

Default TransAlta Road

Was out last week and saw a few guys shooting. Why, why, why do people have to leave such a mess ? It was embarrassing to all shooters to see the garbage and mess left there.

Its no wonder the govt is closing off areas. There are now large rocks across the road in.

Yup, you pack it in you pack it out...that’s not so hard to understand
