Default Arbor press with Wilson dies

Hi folks,
Anyone having experience with LE Wilson neck dies? Worth the money compared to conventional threaded neck dies in a regular press?
Thanks!

I use Wilson seaters but not neck dies. I suspect not a lot use the NK dies. The Wilson seater matched with a Redding Type S FL die for resizing is probably a pretty common combination.

Thanks! The seating die you use, is it a threaded one or proprietary for Arbor press?

The Wilson in-line Seaters need the arbor press (bought my press from Busy Bee tools). I don’t think Wilson makes a threaded seater die.
It is my understanding they make only the NK die and not a FL die because the latter would take more pressure than would be practical with an arbor press.

I would recommend if you are considering the purchase of the Redding Type S sizer dies / bushings, that you purchase a single FL die rather than a NK die or a pricey NK die set. I suspect that most loaders looking for "best" accuracy are FL sizing every time. Sooner or later, with NK dies, it will be necessary to bump the shoulder back with a FL die.

Assuming you have a FL die already, could try a bushing/bump neck die, they are available.

Other than Redding, what's the next best manufacturer?

Hornady makes a series of “Match Grade Dies” that use bushings. I have not heard any reports relative to quality.

I use Wilson dies & arbor press etc. for my 6mmBR. I bought mine from Sinclair. They work very well they do put press, dies combo's etc . on sale if you can wait.

Cheaper then Redding ( there have been some quality issues lately as well,).

Hornady dies are junk IMHO maybe in the larger calibers are ok but in my .17 Hornet they have been utter garbage ( two sets). No customer service at all either.

RCBS has always worked for me and they make up 95% of my reloading dies. If you buy RCBS get some die ring locks from Hornady, much better then the simple brass pin lock rings RCBS uses on there dies.
