heading up there the july 27 any info on the lake would be great ,fishing ,camping area , do they rent cabins up there, fishing spots to go to on the lake, never been there before new venture .
there is a camp ground on the north east side, i just can't remember the name of it. the walleye fishing has been good recently, find a spot called indian point and give it a try there.
Turtle Lake is more of a city than a lake these days. I think half of Saskatchewan residents live there in the summer. I know there are rental cabins but they are probably booked solid. As for fishing we caught a few small pike 3 years ago but haven't been back since. I know there are monsters in the lake (because it's huge) but there is ALOT of fishing pressure there. I would suggest trolling around until you find a honey hole.

And the other half are from Alberta. The only place with cabin rentals is at the south end. Drove around on the weekend and the campgrounds were full at least on the weekend but it is holiday season.
Haha hopefully man, I always tried as a youngster, no luck though. Apparently it could be like a giant sturgeon or something is what I've heard from some locals
