Actually, yes, I do. But, you can make methanol, ethanol, diesel and gasoline from sugar, east and water.

You're telling me my car will run off of beer?

Ok I'm going to try this.

I'll report back with my findings!

Your beer has about 10% of alcohol. Need like 99% mixture.

Gasoline is a mixture of 3 types of alcohols and octane boosters, which are some type of essential oils. Unfortunately this high octane essential oils can not be gotten from sugar, east and water. Perhaps may be under some kind of a trials it is possible to find catalytic converter for this.

Hmm. Maybe I can use my wife’s ridiculously large collection of essential oils to fuel up the F350. 🤔

This thread reminds me of the guy who built stoves out of tin cans and slept under a tarp.

Probably not, even if it is possible, it’s going to be very hard to get this oils from plants and trees.

Yes, you can use pure methanol to run your car. Just need to make some small changes and also need to add some soft oil into it, like 20ml per litre of methanol, cause your engine will start rust, this engines not designed for methanol use. There is some issues with methanol and water.

I once read that the Model T came with instructions on how to make it run on alcohol, mainly for farmers.
Sorry, can't find the article. But apparently alcohol doesn't give as much power as gasoline, so there's a deficit.

My dad spoke of when they used to run vehicles on wood - somehow they were able to convert it to alcohol on the fly.

Had to get out and push when going up a hill, though...

Now I remember! Chimpac had some pretty cool ideas about hobo stoves and tarp setups.
