Default Rod & Gun Rocky Mountain House?

Wondering if I have to be a member or can I shoot one day with a pass? Going to Caroline to the dinner tomorrow and stay with friends in Caroline. On Sunday was wanting to do some long range shooting in rocky with a friend there after some shed hunting.

Cheers, Dave

You have to get to Clearwater locksmith during the week and get a guest pass, they are closed on weekends. Oh, the range is unbelievable with all the work completed recently, I am in eager anticipation of the 1200m range completion!

If your friend has a membership you can go to Clearwater locksmith till noon to get a guest pass. If not, you will have to get a membership.

Big thanks to Backwoods Runner and Hotpaws for all their hard work, and of course all the other volunteers whom I don't know yet. The range is amazing, my property value ought to go up because of it thanks!!! I love the sound of gunfire in the morning! Did the CFO approve the 1200m yet??

CFO is coming out tomorrow to inspect and hopefully certify all the ranges. Hot Paws will be sending out a blanket e-mail to all members in respect to the outcome.

How much is the membership at that range? I'm always there a few times through out the year anyway. It'd be nice to have a nice place to shoot long range and meet some fellow shooting enthusiasts.

About $100 for the year. And you can get your spouse a membership for an extra 10 bucks. My wife truly didn't appreciate the value in it. LOL!!

No news yet on range certification. My job on construction is completed. The rest of the project rests on the directors and the CFO. My understanding is that Range A and Range C are still open.

Just a reminder to ALL range users, not just ours: ALL targets including reactive targets must be placed on the backboards provided or directly in front of backstops.

I joined and spent the afternoon there checking it out yesterday. Outstanding range! I viewed all of the ranges except the 1200 M range. 600 M is a long way for my 444!!! The cost was $120 and the folks at Clearwater Locksmith treated me very nicely.

I could not find membership in Calgary area and decided to join Rocky because I travel to Red Deer weekly for work on company gas. After my visit I'm happy I did join.

Backwoods Runner and all the other builders did an amazing job in design, safety, and construction.
