with the inability last year to get 90 days worth of medications AND
being limited to 30 days at a time AND
drugs made in or compounded in China I asked a long time pharmacy friend
for advice, was thinking of pretending to have my vehicle broke into on the way home from the pharmacy in order to double up one time with meds to get ahead of the game should there be a shortage
well little did I know this fact

you can get your prescription filled on a 3 month 90 day normal prescription
REFILLED EVERY 77 DAYS

so just make that on your calendar for those who have a prescription that Carrie’s on for a couple of years without the risk of it being changed

then after a year or so you save 13 days every 3 months
you will then have a extra 3 months supply in your house

my doctor does not really want to give me a 6 month supply as the “norm” is a 3 month prescription for the meds that I use

hope this helps for those worried that

if the supply chain going slow in the future yiu have some extra time

for those of us who have let’s say a blood pressure med that REALLY WORKS
good idea

the local pharmacist said why worry there are dozens of blood pressure drugs

then I asked how long to find one that works this well he lowered his head and said that may take a year or w but at least we would be close or closer than no medication at all
wow, they are producing great pharmacists out of the schools eh

Another thing to consider is the dispensing fees

Costco $4.35 Walmart $9.80 Loblaw $10.10 Safeway $11.00 Shoppers Drug Mart $11.65 Sobeys $12.15 Rexall $12.15

If you get 30 day prescriptions you pay monthly for each Medication, the fee is the same for a 90 day prescription.

if you guys are purchasing meds for prescription, COSTCO is the cheapest i've seen, you don't need a membership, you can get a day pass, for free at main counter.
