I took this pic of a good friend, Late evening , another 2 hours at least to get home ,early river moose hunt .
I love this pic. Alec was born about 100 miles north of Ft. McMurray on the Athabasca River, he had forgotten more about that river and hunting it than many of us will ever learn, myself included !
We have helped each other out numerous times when the chips were down and someone needed a hand!

Beautiful picture Cat! Good to have friends like that. I snapped this pic just a couple days ago from my stand up in the Saddles. My hunting partner is in a stand there as well, if you can find him. Beautiful peaceful day.

Out looking for coyotes & wolves, I heard then saw these two rummaging for food and decided to give them some oatmeal cookie I had for snacks !

Just shut the truck down & held my arm out the window with cookie crumbs in my palm... They came right to me !

Whiskey Jacks have to be one of the coolest birds on the planet !

Looks amazing gentlemen! I must say I feel like I have robbed myself of 30 years just getting back into shooting this year... Better late than never though I guess!

A few of my favorites from the last few years.

Peace River hills. Called in a young bull moose an hour after this photo. Morning hunt so had all day to haul out and enjoy.

Always love this time of year.

First time goose hunting. Little timid. I was worried I over did it with all the gun fire.

Opening week. She’s on her way to becoming a pheasant machine. Fun to watch.

Love the field pics you fellas. Being physically unable to get back where some of you all go enables be to hunt venture through you. As mentioned, those pics of the Elk hunt on horseback and wagon are priceless. Thank you.

Just out with my son, working his pup on birds tonight and snapped these pics. This week will be her first for real hunt. She's ready. Time to take the training wheels off.
