Default Mule deer archery hunt

About to put in for draw, any pro tips or suggestions as to a good wmu with public land to start in? Preferably starting in September. North or North West of edmonton?

My recommendation is if your just starting to look for mule area's is locate some general archery zones and starting burning boot rubber. Would be waste to get a draw on a zone that your not familiar with but that's my 2 cents.

I'd tend to agree with Aste. You can likely find a good public land general unit up there to bow hunt late summer/early fall. If you haven't already scouted a "target" unit, it would be a shame to apply, successfully draw, and then realize it's garbage for your particular species.

Yup spend a year in an area or areas prior to burning a draw tag.
