Sounds like somebody else has a head on their shoulders, that can actually understand where my post was coming from. I just found this type of thing strange, to say the least...I guess it is common practice on internet forums to meet up with random people and hope they arent crazy.

And to call me "scum", and you dont even know me...well I hope you really are as big and bad as you say you are if I ever meet you out on the lake. Very classless.

Canadian Tire carries pink and green anchovies, not sure they make a difference but caught a couple pike with a gut full of them last year. EIther scavenging the bottom from people throwing bait down the hole or just really good bait stealers..

You have got to be kidding me. 2 days ago a girl starts a thread seeing if she can meet up with someone to go fishing. She asks for a ride because for personal reasons and of no business to anyone on here does not have access to a vehicle. Shes then becomes a target of critisizm by a couple of people who sound like they had a bad experience on Lava Life or Plenty of Fish. The day has since come and gone and this is still a topic of conversation. Someone asked for a ride and a few people chose to turn this into a Jerry Springer forum.
Suck it up and lets move on

[QUOTE=iliketrout;475022]Red food coloring and any regular colored smelts is much cheaper.[/QUOTE
I was thinking of doing this, but was wondering a couple things:
1. Does the coloring come off onto your hands when handling the smelts
2. Should a person partially thaw the smelts out or can a person do them frozen.
Planning on trying this tommorow as I am going out on Saturday.

Im Back. Was at the Team Canada / USA game last night and drove back after the game. I should recover by the weekend. I almost lost another Rod in Saskatchewan. Whatever it was just hammered the smelt and shazaam down the hole she went. The other Rod is gone so its time to move on. PCR was great fishing but I want to fish where theres bigger fish. Atleast until I get skunked a few times and have to go rebuild my confidence - lol.
Good Luck to All this weekend

yes it does, my fingers were pink after Tuesday...but it washes off fairly easily and is worth it to see those pike chase them

Im not to worried about you .As for classless your comment about the Gas Ass or Grass is way out of line and isnt no better . If you dont like people asking for a ride to go fishing , dont read it simple as that . Your no skin off my arse nore anyone else on this forum so your Opinion is like a butthole we all have them just some bigger then others . You and your opinion doesnt really matter . HAve a good day .
