Default chinook/allison lake

taking a group of boy scouts to allison lake during the first week of july for some camping, hiking and fishing fun. any tips or suggestions for fishing the lake so that the boys will have some success?

Assuming that you will be using spinning gear, try using an adjust-a-bubble type bobber and small flies. Some flies to try would be pheasant tail nymphs, gold ribbed hare's ear (about size 14), or a black wooly bugger (about size 10 or 12). If fish are rising, trying using a size 14 elk hair caddis or adams.

Cool little lake. Haven't been for a few years, but we used to do very well with a small five of diamonds. Cast among the dead heads and sunken logs.

thanks guys, i heard from another that the logs in the one end were great and also the dam at the other gets most of the pressure.
hope it is great for the boys and i'll post some pics after.
