Default Beaver Lake

Planning a day trip to Beaver Lake near Sundre with the float tube and fly rod in hand. Has anyone been there lately and willing to disclose what pattern they are hitting?

Any tips or advise would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Green shrimp patterns fished really deep and twitched slowly worked for me but not as well as all the spin casters trolling spinners. We did get a hit or two with the copper johns too.

Couldn't get anything to hit on various dries though.

Use Cronie's, Fished under a float. Hope for a bit of chop. The key is to find the depth the cronies are hanging at. I like popsicles myselp. Black body with white bead head. I have my beast luck on the west side of the lake. Good Luck it can be very hit or miss out there.
