Default Ice Fishing near Faust

I used to keep tackle, rods and a lawn chair in my vehicle on my sales trips through Slave Lake enroute to High Prairie and Grande Prairie.

Many great lazy summer afternoons on the dock at Faust.

Never Ice fished there and am considering stopping in there next month.

Worth a stop?

a few years back you could find a few tracks venturing out onto the lake...
not in the last couple of years, nobody goes on @ faust...if your not familiar with the lake, there are a few springs in the bay...thin ice if not open holes....

there where some guys going on @ nine mile point with just rubber,we chained up the snow is deep and you beat your truck up trying to navigate your way onto the ice....
