Default Police Outpost / Mami (Payne) Lake conditions

I was thinking of heading down south to Police or Mami. Does anyone have updates regarding these two?
Taking the fly rod and bellyboat.

Thanks in advance

Default We're heading there on Friday

I hope it's good, heading there this weekend. I'll post a detailed report upon my return. Good luck.

last year ruined me for mami... way too many small ones, seems to be nothing over a pound there, but very interested to hear what police is putting out this year

Were you fly fishing, shore or trolling? What seemed to work for you?

at mami, power bait on a pickerel works well... so does spinning and flying.... there are many fish.. last year they put in 250000, I just am not a big fan of 900g bows... but police has big fish

Default 900g is a nice size

If my math is correct 900g is roughly 2 pounds, that's decent especially for Payne. I know what you're saying though, tons of sardines. This lake has a sucker issue to be sure.
