Sitting at 536 in two days. Me plus one with matching 10/22's and a 223 for the long shots. Got some videos of that 223 in action... brutal.

kickin'er up!
Buddy took his grandson out today, and between them they took 537. I was out a bit farther south all by my lonesome, and managed an additional 283. Talley for the day between us at 820 even! + 5842= 6662
They were out thick today. One of the best shoots we have had in about three years! Cycle coming around maybe?

Went out with Dad and a friend last weekend. Used the big guns for long range practice.And the .22 lr for the up close..... destruction. So much fun! hunted on the Remington Ranch about an hour south of Lethbridge. Stayed in one area all day. I heard this time of year the whole family is out of the holes. Got 2 with the vehicle just driving to the ranch. Didn't even mean to.
Went through a brick and a half of .22 ammo. 750 rounds! we each had a .22. 2 were scoped and one had the red dot sight. very conservatively we estimate an easy 400 gophers down between the 3 of us. most likely more, especially with the scoped .22's
I shot 60 rounds through the .270 , Dad shot 50 out of the 22-250, and the friend shot 100 through the .308! all handloads. We had just nailed down load development for the .270 and .308 and wanted to test them out to long ranges and confirm. the 22-250 was being developed.
I got 45 kills from the .270. longest was at 315 yards. but really anything over 250 yards with that gun was a bit chance. it shoots right around the 1 moa mark.
The 22-250 Im not sure. It was shooting great. 30 would be a safe bet.
The .308 was quite the killer. I shot 2 gophers in a row at 400 yards! and another was killed by the friend no long before that at 400.
We were experimenting with the ballistics app we had and g7 bc data input. It was spot on! the .308 gets 72 confirmed kills. we did play alot more at the longer ranges with this one and thats why there are more misses. that's 547 kills that day. although i would be very surprised if it wasnt closer to 600. but i'm playing it safe.

Wife got 14 w 14 shots but had 1 complete miss. She got 2 with one shot. Don't tell Shep Dog. Shooting Browning T-bolt in gusty wind. Long grass so I did the spotting. She is a better shooter than hunter. Lol

7264+104=7368. Went out with my son and was able to hit 4 babies on a mound with one 12 ga shot. That was pretty cool!!

Are tails still worth 10 cents?
Total = $766.90, minus expenses.
