Big enough to shoot... But I'm guessing that would land me a few years in the clink for where he lives

I'd say he is about average....a couple more years and he could be a real trophy picture.

Nice Bull. Looks like he will be a 300" to me. Got some nice pictures of a bull this size near jasper at watchtower basin a few weeks back. Dosent matter where he is. Its nice to enjoy the beauty of wildlife anywhere regardless of hunting options. Nice thing was it was 15 kms uphill. Didnt see a single tourist.

I think the 300 and 315 guess's will be in the ball park once the velvet is off. Wonder how much more he will grow before he is done? No matter what he scores it is a nice bull. I enjoy seeing the bulls in the parks. Nice to have time to watch them for a while and figure out what is a shooter or not, then when one runs across one in the wild with a tag and not much time to judge, it is a little easier making the decision. I bet the big percentage of guys with elk tags here rarely see one this big. Saw about 10 bulls last year and not one anywhere near his size.

Who cares where it's from, it's a guess the score thread, helps to give guys ideas on the scores of bulls, 350 plus, why do some people have to be so difficult.

I find once a bull hits 300 its hard to score in the field a 300 vs a 340....on a 6X6 a difference of 40 inches doesn't take long to build and most can't tell in the field....
5 inches per main beam length = 10 inches
1 inch per point = 10 inches
6 inches of width = 6 inches
1.5 inches per circumference = 12 inches
difference of 38 inches....can anyone actually see that sort of difference from 200 yards away?? or even from 40 yards away??
