Default Seibert Lake

I plan on taking my son up to Seibert July 2-5. Does anyone have experience on the access road at that time? I’ve heard there have been improvements... thanks in advance.

Its been many years since I've been up in that area but the one thing that remains strong in my mind is the walleye fishing if you take the short hike to Spencer Lake off the north east corner of Seibert.

Its not like there's a road report, or a set in stone amount of rain fall...
Do your due diligence if your taking your kid...

Check how much rain fell in the week prior to your trip...
Watch out for the bananas that clip through there at mach 3.
We usually see someone pile up into the rubarb at the tight turns when they meet someone and are going to fast.

Can get greasy if it has been wet and should be avoided for a day or 2 until it has dried out. If it has been dry road is usually good but the road is quite narrow.

Agree I have come across a handful of guys piled up at the sharp corners on that road over the years. Take it slow and be aware.

Boat launch was moved a number of years ago. Lauch is still too shallow and is not the greatest. Shouldn't have any issues catching a bunch of Walleye. It's a nice lake one of my favorites.

Note that there is a bait ban on the lake and Pike have a zero limit.

If it were me i would bring a chainsaw. And if there has been lots of rain i would wait a few days. Groups have been trapped in there in the past.

Was planning on going up today but the forecast rain today and Saturday made me reconsider.
