Was out there on wednesday (aspen beach area), spent all day on the lake saw about 10-15 white fish only got 1 to bit. The ice was any where from 9-12'' i did move around a lot and seen the most fish at about 8 feet deep and a sandy bottom (that is what i would recomend if you are going for whites). Good luck and merry christmas to you.

Set the shack up there yesterday. Saw a couple big pike and a few perch. 12-14 inches of ice. Heading out this morning for a few hours.

Which part of the lake was at 12 - 14 inches of ice?

We were at Brownlows this afternoon as well , ice was 10 to 12 inches thick . Depending on who was on the smart end of the tape & where in the bay you punched a hole . Lots of trucks and people , that entrance onto the lake looks a little scary , frozen slush and there seems to be more of it everyday ?

Be careful on Gull, in some spots theres lots of ice and then 50 yards away 4 inches with flood water. on the northwest side LAST WEDNESDAY.
