Managed to get the attention of a lunker burbot today on a jig and minnow. They’ve been showing more interest than normal this year and I was pretty jacked when I heard the reel drag and looked down the hole at that fat head! I gave him a few feet of line before setting the jig and he came up without too much of a struggle. Caught in about 8’ water, roughly 9lb.
