Default How many days did you hunt this past season? How many days are you planning to hunt this season?

Off the top of my head I hunted about 20 days last fall. This year I am planning on a 5 day hunt in Sept., 5 days in Oct, 4 days in Nov, and a three day hunt in Camp Wainwright=17 days. Then there are my normal two days off from work each week which are Fridays and Saturdays. Well maybe if all goes well...I'll be able to hunt a total of 25 days this hunting season...perhaps a bit more.

Last year I managed 3 days in Sept (missed bull moose), 6 days in Oct (missed 2 Wt does) and 2 days in Nov (filled 3 WT deer tags).

This year I plan to hunt every Saturday in Archery season, plan to take a week in Nov. and 3 days for the Wainwright hunt.

I have 1 week in sept. 3 weeks in oct and 3 weeks in nov. I work 7 on 7 off so with 14 days vacation left I hope to get out a hole helluva lot. Got my wife into hunting so as long as she gets out once in a while and fills her tags, the leash stays pretty long

Between guiding and hunting I'm probably in the field 120-130 days per year.

Last year I was really wired to get our for birds, but had booked clients from Sept through till near the end of Oct. The last two left on a Sunday, and I had decided to hunt dirds for 4-5 days. I got up the next morning and everything was frozen solid. i never shot my shotgum last year.

This year is different. Other than one client hunt in Oct. I'm hunting from Sept till Dec!.

I'm also planning to return to Africa next year. April or May. probably 3 weeks
