Bull Moose in 152
Hey! Anyone have any leads on A bull moose in 152 ( Finnegan to Jenner )
I've spend countless hours hunting and scouting since July. Seen some cows and calves but still haven't spotted a Bull.
If you're able to help I would really appreciate it.
This is my first year moose hunting. So much different than deer!
Thanks everyone

If you’ve seen cows and calves, concentrate in that area. The calf didn’t get there by artificial insemination. Early in morning late in afternoon. Good luck.

Couple years ago I had a cow tag in 152. Before I shot my cow I saw a few bulls, one of them was very good.

Find water, bush and crop land and you’re in the money. They’re out there in good numbers in their pockets

I'm sure they're still on the local golf course trying to get in the last round or two before they close for the season.
See .....

RBB ... for that close of a shot, I'd pass you a wedge, like the one Tiger Woods got hit in the teeth with after his Mrs read all those text's from his g-friend. It's a fineness shot about 30 yds out, all you need to score, hit it hard between the eyes & down he goes.

Is the Club OK with you gutting it in the middle of the green?

They dont like it out on the open naked prairie on top cuz theres nuthin to eat up there
So stay along the river thru the whole section

Did you perhaps post the video of the release on LinkedIn? I seen a video last week of a couple guys releasing a calf moose trapped in a fence.

the big problem with moose in agricultural areas, is just like picture, they are very hard on fences.
My neighbor near Orion, was tired of chasing his cattle every time the fences were down, he called someone from first nations to eliminate a few. seemed to work, except the moose population has dropped considerably.

I grew up in SW SK. We didn't see a lot of moose, but you always knew on was around when you found 1/4 mile of fence that needed repair.
