Default My cartridge display cabinet

I had a number of members on here, a few years ago now, make up some blank cartridges to give to my son for Christmas. As a nine year old, he was really happy with them all, with the understanding that I was trying to find a display shelf.
Time went on, I slowly stopped looking as hard for one until it just slipped away. When Chukar Hunter posted his up, it kind of spurred me on. I have no woodworking tools, not that I could.use for this, so I called up a cabinet maker buddy. I picked it up from him today.

Nothing in here is set in place yet. I kind of like the order, tallest to shortest, but I'm also toying with sorting by caliber as well, pistol by itself.

I showed this to my son, just like you see it here and he was speechless.

To all of you sent me the cartridges, I'm sorry I forget all who it was, but again, thank you.

Default Super Cool

That is a very cool display. I think it appeals to anyone who is a shooter.

Lol, I have them here and I still can’t name them all!

Before I actually affix these I will tumble them, and maybe clear coat them to preserve the shine. But I will be making a laminated card with what they are. I can’t name the bullets in most, I’m not one of those guys. But at least we’ll know what we have. The card will be affixed to the back panel.

I have mine in a brass dish on the coffee table. I like yours better.

Looks good Scott!

I see a 6BR but it looks like the 45-70 didn't make the cut LOL

Everything I was sent made it in. I don’t remember a 45-70 but it would’ve made the cut for sure

I'm a firm believer, a glass cover is needed to keep them from tarnishing, but then I live near a gas plant.
