Default looking for forester products

I'm looking for a place in Calgary or Lethbridge that carries Forester products. Specifically, I'm looking for the chainsaw tooth type of brushcutter blade.

If no Forester blades are available, anyone know of any other good types of blades? I have about 1000' x 6' of caragana to cut out. I did about 200'x 2' the other day with a chainsaw and a sawzall. I dont' want a repeat.

Looking for non carbide blades. Diablo any good?

Funny you should ask!!!

I have a Troy Built 4 stroke weed eater that came with a square blade that I have since lost. I took it to Lawnmower Hospital in Edmonton and they fit it up with a Shindawa brush saw blade, 20 mm shaft if I recall, that sharpens like a chain saw. $58 plus GST.

Now the sad part.

You know when you open a bag of potato chips to have one, and then you just can't stop and eat the whole bag because the first one was so good?

WEELLLL, I just had to try out that new blade two weekends ago on a beer bottle sized poplar, and ZING! So I went to the next one and ZING!!!!

By Saturday afternoon the pile was over 6 feet high and about 30 feet long. Area cleared of EVERYTHING is about 35 ' x 60 '. 15 - 20 foot poplars were dropping like flies.

Just saying.... Take it to Lawnmower Hospital and enjoy the carnage.

I'll have to see if I can find something similar locally. Edmonton is a 4 hour drive one way for me.

In my case, they're going into the chipper right away. After I get those knives sharpened....

Rentco in GP is where I get my shindaiwa blades. The squared ones are for tall grass. Mine are round with 20 ish chainsaw teeth.
