Default Christmas Day Grayling new PB

So my dad decided to go out with me for an hour and a half from 3-4:30PM on Christmas day to Quarry Lake. There were some other guys there with a tent when we arrived who had seen some but didn't end up catching any. We set up a couple of jaw jackers with bead head chroni's and each were jigging a bead head nymph. It didn't take long before Jaw Jacker number one went off. But nothing there. Later found out the release went down but the other part was frozen and didn't release the rod. Reminder not to splash water on your Jaw Jacker while scooping your hole. Anyways next jaw jacker had a new personal best Grayling(which was also my second grayling every, haha) about a 17 inch I would estimate and a nice sail of a fin. Then I hooked up with a smaller one on the fly and the aid of the MarCum. While releasing this fish the jaw jacker behind us sprung up and my dad caught his first grayling ever! A bit later my dad hooked up with one on his jigging rod and landed another beautiful grayling which I didn't catch on the video but got some pics. This was great for an hour and a half of fishing. What a great little pond!

Here are some pic stills from the video and a link to the video. Lots more action in this one than my first day out!

Yeah you'll have to give in a try Wayne... you'll catch them for sure. Probably the biggest one in the lake if I know you!
