Exclamation any decent action south of Calgary? ?

Hey all, finally getting a chance to sneak out fir the first trip of the year with some first timers...sort of last minute but I'm pumped! I don't really feel like hitting up chain for trout so curious if anyone has had any luck on the ice at clear lake, pcr, or badger?? Hoping to tear into a few pike but there hasn't been much chatter on here about southern lakes. Travers looked good from the other post I read but I'm not overly familiar with the reservoir. Thanks in advance!

Thanks for sharing that with the internet. Now if you would be so kind as to tell all of us just exactly where you were fishing and what hook and bait would also be appreciated by the hundreds that you have now told

The fishing at Newell has been great as has Travers. Fishing at Badger turns off like a switch and is so small you're on top of other anglers all the time, not my cup of tea...

Spent 4 hours at badger yesterday. It was slow for me. 2 small pike. Fished the east side down from the pump house. A splilway flows in there. Just walked on. Wear rubber boots, it's wet wet everywhere

Ok then... Either way, quit whining about people posting about where they are fishing and how the fishing is. This is a fishing forum.... Makes you sound jealous and petty.

The kicker is that by commenting, TROLLER has ensured that 10x more people will see this than would have otherwise.

If you don't like the advertisement, don't bump the thread.

Yeah you wouldn't want to be caught sharing information in a discussion group on a forum created so people can share information.

Some people should have their interwebs revoked... you can decide who, I know who I would nominate.

While I'm still not convinced that you're not a reincarnated version of a previous member... I still think Troller's whine post is ridiculously funny.

Also... Bump for Troller.

Really appreciate all the helpful, positive replies! To avoid stepping on anyones toes we just hit up clear lake instead...fished off the rock pile and only managed two bites all day with nothing landed....regardless it felt great to get back out on the ice! Have to try Badger next time around for sure. For anyone who has an issue with information sharing...im afraid you might be on the wrong site..keep your negativity to yourselves! There is nothing wrong with providing each other with general information about lakes and fish activity..that is part of the point of this forum.

LOL Frank lake is a running joke around here. May not be any bass in there, but if you are ever in the mood to go fishing for turds, that's your place
