Default Went to Chain Lakes N of Athabasca

Had a great day fishing there did a full catch and release biggest was 2 1/2 lbs. Caught close to 25 fish it was fantastic day, not to hot but was a little breezy toward late afternoon.

Way to go. I was there in winter 2 years ago and only caught small 7-12 inchers, but only fished the morning bite. Hit up a perch lake nearby in the afternoon.

Ah yes wonderful Perch. Have you tried Ghost Lake near there. I had to go through a number of Perch to get some decent ones but it was none stop action. Pike were of a decent size too.
