Default Question for you Bonnyville folks.....

Grew up spending the summers at our summer cottage at Moose lake and used to hop over to Chatwin lake and troll around with a paddle boat. It produced well back then which is over twenty years ago now. My Grandfathers used do well throught the ice back in the 80's there. Is it still a decent lake for rainbow fishing? Was thinking of trying through the ice possibly this year....

I've been here for 7 years and have never seen anyone fishing it summer or winter. Still minnows in it during summer while quading around it. So not sure if there would be any Rainbows. Never heard about anyone catching in it and I'm sure that would be hard to keep off the radar if fish were being caught there. Side note moose has been great for walleye and jack, perch are also starting to return
