I would love to see some of your finished work. I am really tempted to double up the trapping if I can find someone to do the skinning and fleshing that knows somewhat of what they are doing. If it was cold enough I could fill an enclosed trailer up full of dogs and meet you half way as well. It would be tempting. I could spend way more time catching more that way. It takes too much of my time trying to keep up with skinning and fleshing to do any huge numbers

With that many coyotes how do you keep them seperate from others coyotes? I sure as hell would hate for my coyotes that are fully prime and snared to be mixed up with someone elses early shot to s$#t coyotes if you are doing it commercially!

Do you use one of those mechanical fleshers with the circular blade like they have in a tannery or is it all over a beam with a fleshing knife?

How long does it take you to flesh one?

Looks like you're using the metal wire strechers on your coyote, Wire or wood

If you're using the wire strecher, why wire instead of wood

Thanks

Ok!Ok! I get it...you're much more efficient at processing fur than I ever will be. Lol. Heck, 47 coyotes ready for market would be a great WEEK for me. The aforementioned 47 yotes, 2 wolves and 3 otters..were those all skinned, fleshed and boarded today? Or do you skin a bunch, freeze the hides, and later, do a bunch of fleshing and boarding. I'm sure you must have developed many tricks of the trade that could help regular trappers like me speed up the whole process. Have you ever thought of putting out a short vid...or maybe doing a few seminars here and there. I for one would be interested in learning ways to be more efficient. Every year I end up stopping coyote trapping earlier than I'd like because they pile up much faster than I can process them.
