I spent some time at Namur a few years ago. We were there in June shortly after ice-out. The fishing was fantastic. Myself and Ken Bailey figured we caught a fish (lake trout) every 10 minutes or so. We also spent some time in the far bay beyond Pelican Island with our fly-rods. Ken landed a pike pushing 20+ pounds.

The accommodations are wonderful and the lake is pristine. I would recommend Namur as a definite. The owners are first-class people - not sure who will be there when you go. It will either be Bev and Cornell or Bob and Ruth.

I am returning again this year with my brother and my dad for his 70th birthday. We're scheduled for June 23rd. Can't wait!
