Default fishing near Carbon?

good evening. my first post on this board but I have been lurking and reading for many moons. as the subject line says, I am wondering about places to fish near carbon. we are going to be camping there for 15,16 and 17th of this month and I plan to bring my gear with me. maybe a small stocked pond or a stream or something as I will have both my spinning and fly fishing gear with me. Thanks!
Andrew

There is a stocked pond just south of Swalwell. I haven't heard if it's been any good this year but is hit or miss in my experience. Also there is the Red Deer river at the Morrin bridge. It can be pretty good, It's maybe 20 min from Carbon.
