Default Fishing Near Calgary

Hi all,
I am new to this forum, and fishing in general. I've only fished once up north in Alberta.
I was wondering where are some good fishing spots 1-2hrs away from Calgary?
Any help is huge!
Thank you,

David G

What do you like to fish for? Using a boat? Spin or fly?

Ok then no problem. If you want to stay close to the city, you can try in Chestermere, carburn park or the glenmore. There is decent pike pike fishing in all of them. That should get you started.

If you want to travel a little further, you can fish Pine Coulee res for pike and walleye. You can try travers off the dock at PP or at the spillway. You can go fish off the damn at mcgregor or from shore at badger. LOTS of places to go.
