What is that telling us? The bow is flowing faster that the highest historical average since 1969? Wow, can you imagine when the run-off joins in?!

Those lines are quartiles so it's only higher than the 25th percentile during that range of years.

So all the extreme years/events are excluded so the average isn't skewed?

Was told my spot by the Bird Sanctuary is gone. The river bank/Rock bed I stand on to fish along the shore is underwater.

In general the high flow is not a bad thing in fact it's mostly good, tough fishing for a while does no count. The fish are not botherd by the flow and the river habitat is deeper and cooler after the channels are recut so it's an over all win for the fish.

Remember how weed choked the bow was in august the summers before the last flood, and how warm the water was.

Oh, no doubt it's a long-term good thing!

I believe they're included but averaged so we just don't know how high it got in the past from this chart.

I work by the sheep river and it is raging. I'm going to checkout the highwood in High River at lunch. I'll take some pics and post them in this thread for anyone that is interested.

Wow! How much space is there usually between the bridge and the water surface?

thats crazy, Ive fished under those bridges more than once, hard to believe how high the water gets!!! Just got back from the bow down here, maybe a foot higher than last weekend, but had 3 different mudlines come in while I was there, so its going up. lots of showers going through now too.

There is usually a ton of space. I would say 15 feet? What do you think Wayne?

Drove over the calf robe at lunch and the water is almost at the top of the treatment plant drains, maybe 6" left?
All Rock islands are long gone, water probably rose a foot since 8 this morning. almost at the top of the banks near LaFarge pipe.
