Went out lamping foxes on Friday night. It is mating time at this time of year in Ireland, so some of the foxes were in pairs. We saw 7 altogether, with most of them being lamp shy.
With snow, hail & a biting wind throughout the night I managed to bag this lovely dog fox, taken at approx 200 yards with 55gr sako ballistic tips. Gun is a howa 1500 .223.
