Default Bearspaw res

i plan on heading out to bearspaw res on sat night for some trout fishing. i was wondering if anyone has done any fishing out there over the years or lately. im looking for a few tips on where to fish an what they llike to bite on. im going to be going in there with a boat so i have access to the whole lake so any tips would help.

Davis77, you are the one who is gonna have to give us tips. Seeing how there is virtually no public access to the lake due to a number of 'reasons'!

However, I know there are lakers in there, so if you have a sonar and a downrigger, give it a shot. Otherwise, I'd try orange/pink buzz bombs, or smallish brown/rainbow rapalas. Good luck and please let us know how it goes.

Just realize how valuable getting on that piece of water is. Honestly, I'd keep it to myself just to keep the landowner happy. Otherwise, there are very, very few people with knowledge of the resevoir, and for the most part, their lips are zipped!
