Default Best fishing day of my life! pic heavy****

Today I was at Wizard lake and I caught the most fish in a day in my whole life! I was shore fishing for about 4 hours today. I caught about 12 pike and a few got away. They were not keepers and a few were almost. They were about 56 cm. I have never seen pike jumping that much in my life. If I new how to fly fish for pike I would have got more. I must have seen about 50 pike jump in that 4 hours! Best day of my life! I will never forget this day.

Is it normal for pike to be feeding on the top like that? I caught all my fish from the surface on the water

They will go where the food is...they are ambush predators and normally strike their prey from below....thats why their eyes are positioned like they are....

Glad you had a good day!

Awesome! I've gotta invest in a fly rod as well, for the days when nothing's biting and everything's jumping.
