Default Homemade fishing lanyard

I've been having a string of bad luck fishing lately, so i decided it must have something to do with the fact that I don't look enough like a real fisherman. I decided to change this, so I made myself a Fishing lanyard out of a bunch of stuff I found around the house. I braided some paracord for the neck strap, and made the rest out of shock cord. All of the tools are attached with old keychain and random pieces I could find. I was looking for some wine corks to put on it for drying flies, but could not find any, so I cut some slits into a sheet of foam and attached it instead.
I have changed the design many times already, so if anyone would like to give me some feedback it would be greatly appreciated, so I can try to make it better still.

If it holds the stuff you need and want it to hold, that in itself makes it a great lanyard. It looks good to me!

Very nice. I keep all that stuff in my vest pockets and the pouch on my waders. It's a system that usually works...but I do sometimes find myself digging for things.
