You can take the last eye off the broken part and put it on the end of the remainder of the rod...it'll still work, it'll just be a little shorter.

It looks like an ice rod and if it is bad news. There is no doubt it can be repaired but at the cost of sensitivity.

Go buy the end that goes on the Marmish fishn rod BPS I think has them. And put on the broken rod. You now have a great rod for perch and trout. Will see the lightest bites and still have a purpose for the rod.

Is that section still hollow? I've used a peice of dowel and some epoxy to fix rods broken further down. If its hollow at all you could use a small finishing nail. Fill the hollow center on one peice with epoxy and push the nail half way in, do the same on the other peice, put a bit more epoxy on the joint and let it cure. You would probably have to clip the head off the nail. If theres no hollow spot and you have steady hands you could try drilling a very small hole in the center of both peices. If you screw this up however you will probably end up with an even shorter stiffer rod than if you just put the eye on it.

Default rod

If your not willing to buy a new one, at 10-20 dollars
just put a new eye on it, not going to change the feel
that much, if it does use it as a dead stick or use
it as a float rod.

You can buy rod tip repair kits... Just note that a new rod may cost only $10 on sale right now.

Not for a rod like this one....just got back from BPS and am gluing on a new tip now. BPS has a ****ty selection of rods right now, CT was better. But if this works out OK I'll survive. Have a couple other rods anyway.

What's the action of the rod? TFH has a 27" Rhino medium action for $9...I picked one up a few weeks back, but haven't been chasing anything big enough to use it yet.

If it is Berkley which I assume it is, send it back and they will replace it. I have sent 2 Berkley rods back and they replaced the rod. All it cost was the shipping.
