Default Spray Lakes Good Friday Morning

Hi all, will be going to Spray Lakes early Friday morning. Since you can't (not supposed to...) eat meat, we always eat fish. Don't have any in the freezer so would like to catch a few for dinner. Will be our last ice fishing day of the year, the rest of the weekend will be family time and have plans the next weekend. With the weather changing, ice will be gone soon I'm sure.

If anyone wants to meet us there and fish with us, you are more than welcome. We will be going super early so I am home at a decent time and have everything cleaned up before dinner at company arrives. We plan to be setup and fishing by no later than 7:00 am so will likely leave before 5:00 am, depending if anyone is joining and which spot we choose to fish.

Drop me a note if anyone wants to meet there.

Cheers!

Boyz, since I had to miss last time due to a sick family and everyone is now healthy again, I am in for sure.

jts1, Ill shoot you a msg and see if we cant travel out together. We can take my truck if you want to meet at my house since is kind of on the way....just let me know. Room for 3 plus myself. If you could fire me a pm about which hooks I should pick up, or if you perhpas still have some that I owe you $$'s for from last time I had to bail, then please let me know. I dont have the right hooks yet for this lake.

I wouldnt mind being back a little bit early as well, but let me know your thoughts on that.

Lookin forward to it.

I still have 3 or 4 hooks I got for you the last time man so thats no prob. Your truck would give us more room for 3 of us but the Blazer can go if you wish. Return time is open for me.

Do you guys and gals mind if I join you? I was planning on going there again on the weekend but since I don't have to work Friday it'll be perfect. I'd like to learn more from the experts here and put some more faces to the names.

FishBrain, I just asked your wife for you when I was having lunch with her and she says your good to go.

I was planning on going out on Friday also. Don't know if I can handle a long walk yet. I will be up there by 7:00 am if any one wants to go out with me I have all the gear we need. Thinking I would fish further down the road from Driftwood

Then stay home. If you don't have anything constructive to add, why post? And just because you can only catch 14" ones, doesn't mean the rest of us do.

If this is an open invitation then I would like to meet up with you myself, that is if y'all don't mind fishing with a young guy born in the fifties. I'm always open to meeting new anglers and learning more techniques/locations. Not to mention my broken sonar.
